Subscription Terms of Service Agreement
Subscription Terms of Service Agreement
Samsara Subscription Terms of Service Agreement
Effective Date: July 21, 2026 00:00 Mountain Time
The following terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract (the “Agreement”) that governs the subscription services (“Subscription Services”) provided by Samsara Mountain Experience, LLC. d/b/a Samsara Experience (“Samsara”, “we”, “our”) to you (“you” or “yours”).
The Subscription Services are offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein. We also have other policies and procedures including, without limitation, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and others. Those policies contain additional terms and conditions, which apply to the Subscription Services and are an integral part of this Agreement.
1. Subscription Plans
To enjoy full access to Samsara training programs, educational materials such as writing, videos, online content, training plans, community platforms, and live-streamed online meetings, you need to sign up for a Subscription. A Subscription starts on the date that you sign up for a subscription and submit payment via a valid Payment Method (defined below) or reactivate a pre-existing subscription. Unless we otherwise communicate a different time period to you at the time of sign up or otherwise (such as a multi-month commitment plan), each billing cycle is one month in length (a “Subscription Cycle”). Your Subscription automatically renews according to the term stated in the subscription product description, which will be either each month, every three months, every six months, or every year (monthly/quarterly/semiannual/annual), and we will automatically bill the subscription fee for your Subscription Cycle to your Payment Method according to your Subscription’s billing cycle detailed in the Subscription Product Description page, until your subscription is canceled or terminated. For example, if you purchase a 3-month Subscription on January 3, your Subscription will automatically renew on April 3 (as further explained in “Subscription Cycles,” below). You must provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (“Payment Method”). We may update the accepted methods from time to time. If you add a Subscription to your base Subscription or if you upgrade or downgrade to a different Subscription, all such Subscriptions will be governed by these Terms and will continue indefinitely until canceled or terminated.
2. Duration and Cancellation
In the case of any Promotional Offer, the corresponding Promotional Period shall continue for the period as advertised, subject to Section 1, above. Unless you cancel a Promotional Offer before the end of the Promotional Period, you will automatically become a recurring subscriber to the type of Service that you chose to sign up to under the Promotional Offer and the payment method you provided will automatically be charged the then-current price for that Service. Any time-capped features of that Service will be reduced by the length of the Promotional Period. If you cancel a Promotional Offer during the Promotional Period, you will lose access to the Service at the end of the Promotional Period. To cancel, you must cancel your product by logging into your customer account and accessing your Recent Purchases listed under your Account Dashboard at samsaraexperience.com, or you may email info@samsaraexperience.com with a request to cancel.
3. Subscription Billing and Auto-Renewal
Your subscription to the Services includes enrollment into an ongoing/recurring payment plan. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the disclosed billing period, unless canceled in accordance with the instructions for cancellation below. Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at confirmation of purchase and at the start of every new billing period, unless canceled. Your “billing period” is the interval of time between each recurring billing date and corresponds to the term of your subscription. For purposes of this Agreement, a “day” or “date” begins at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MST or MDT, as then in effect in Jackson, Wyoming, USA) and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time of that same calendar day. You acknowledge that the timing of when you are billed may vary, including if your subscription began on a day not contained in a given month (e.g., if you have a monthly subscription and became a paying subscriber on January 31, your payment method would be billed next on February 28), due to free trials and other promotional offers, credits applied, or changes in your subscription or payment method. We may also offer you the ability to pause your subscription for a specified period of time. If you do not cancel before the end of the pause period, billing will resume automatically. We reserve the right to change our pricing. In the event of a price change, we will attempt to notify you in advance of the change by email in accordance with Section 11 (Notice). If you do not wish to accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with the instructions included in that email and below. If you do not timely cancel your subscription, your subscription will be renewed at the price in effect at the time of the renewal, without any additional action by you, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for these amounts. We may not notify you of changes in applicable taxes. You are responsible for all third-party Internet access charges and taxes in connection with your use of the Services.
4. Processing and Payment
We will process your purchase as promptly as possible. There may be a delay in the activation of your product while payment details are verified. We accept major credit and debit cards, ACH direct debit, buy-now-pay-later services (such as Klarna), PayPal, and certain digital wallet services, as made available at checkout. We reserve the right to reject any order or purchase at any time. If your initial payment authorization is later revoked, your subscription, product, or access will be terminated. Contact our Customer Care group if you believe your access was terminated in error. Unless specified otherwise in the Cancellation and Refund Policy (Sections 5 and 8), all charges are non-refundable.
4.1 Payment Method Updates
To view or change your payment method, you need to log in to your account and change your payment method manually. You are responsible for keeping your updated credit card information (new credit card number or updated expiration date) current in your account. The disbursement of the updated credit card information is provided to us at the election of your credit card issuer. We are not responsible for the distribution of your updated credit card information. Your credit card issuer may give you the right to opt out of the update service. It is your responsibility to contact your credit card issuer with regard to your right to opt out of the update service.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can submit a request to cancel your subscription at any time. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the full Subscription Cycle (e.g., the full three-, six-, or twelve-month term), and canceling stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of the current prepaid term except as set forth in Section 8.2. If you enroll in a plan with a minimum commitment that is billed in installments rather than prepaid in full (for example, a multi-month term paid monthly), you remain responsible for all payments required to complete that commitment. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise disclosed. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to the Service through the end of your current billing period, unless you are subscribed through a free trial, promotional code, or other credit, in which case cancellation may be effective immediately. If you modify your subscription to switch from one Service to another Service during your billing period, you may not have continued access to your original Service. You must cancel your subscription prior to 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on the day before your next recurring billing date in order to avoid being charged for the next billing period. All subscription charges are non-refundable except as set forth in Section 8.2, and we do not refund or credit for partially used billing periods. If you cancel, including if you switch your billing to a third party, you will forfeit any service or referral credit. To cancel your Subscription to the Services, log in to your account at samsaraexperience.com and cancel your Subscription, or email info@samsaraexperience.com.
6. Payment Details
We will keep your detailed payment information, such as credit card number and expiry date, on file. In the event your account or subscriptions are configured so that you receive separate bills relating to the Service, we may consolidate such bills to reduce the number of separate charges you receive. Where your details change or are due to expire, we may obtain or receive from your payment provider updated payment details including your card number and expiry date (or equivalent). This enables us to continue to provide you access to the Services. You authorize us to continue to charge your card using the updated information. In the event of a failed attempt to charge your payment method (e.g., if your payment method has expired), we reserve the right to retry billing your payment method. If a payment is not successfully authorized due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, we may suspend or terminate your subscription. You will remain responsible for any amounts you fail to pay in connection with your subscription, including collection costs, bank overdraft fees, collection agency fees, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and arbitration or court costs. You also agree that we may charge your payment method on file if you decide to restart your subscription.
7. Billing and Payment
Users of the Service may be required to provide their credit card details to Samsara or to the payment service provider retained by Samsara (the “PSP”). Users will be responsible for paying all applicable fees related to their use of the Service (the “Fees”). You are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including sales, use, VAT, or similar transaction taxes imposed on your paid subscription to the Service, unless you provide Samsara with a valid tax exemption certificate (“Taxes”). All Taxes payable by you will be separately stated and exclusive of the Fees. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you will have no liability for taxes that are statutorily imposed on Samsara, including taxes or fees based on Samsara’s net or gross income. All paid plans must enter a valid payment account. Free accounts are not required to provide payment account information. We will immediately bill you upon any upgrade from a free plan to any paying plan.
7.1 Subscription Cycles
Samsara offers, but is not limited to, monthly/quarterly/semiannual/annual Subscription Services Plans. For monthly payment plans, the Service is billed on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. For quarterly, semiannual, and annual payment plans, the Service is billed up front for the designated Subscription period and is non-refundable except as set forth in Section 8.2. Your Subscription plan will automatically renew for successive one (1) subscription period terms from the date of purchase. You will be charged the applicable fees on each corresponding anniversary of your purchase, whether it be monthly/quarterly/semiannual/annual, unless you cancel your Account plan prior to the end of the then-current term. There will be no refunds or credits for partial terms of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for unused terms with an open account.
8. Payments, Billing, and Renewals
8.1 Subscription Plans — Payment Authorization
Payment by credit card or debit card. If you are paying by credit card, you authorize us to charge your credit card or bank account for all fees payable during the Subscription Cycle. You further authorize us to use a third party to process payments and consent to the disclosure of your payment information to such third party.
8.2 Refunds
We strive to provide a valuable and satisfying customer experience. All subscription charges are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in this Section 8.2 or as required by applicable law. We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, elect to grant a refund on a case-by-case basis. The existence of this discretion does not create any right to, or expectation of, a refund. Nothing in this Section limits your right to cancel future renewals at any time under Section 5.
(a) Basecamp and Rebuild Subscriptions. Basecamp and Rebuild subscription charges are non-refundable. If we elect to grant a refund of a Basecamp or Rebuild subscription charge, the refunded amount will be subject to a deduction equal to three percent (3%) of the subscription payment (reflecting non-recoverable payment processing costs) plus a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) administrative fee. Any refund we elect to grant applies only to the most recent renewal charge; under no circumstances will charges from prior billing cycles be refunded.
(b) Athlete Team Subscriptions. Refund requests for Athlete Team subscription charges received within seven (7) days after the renewal date will be considered on a case-by-case basis; any refund we elect to grant will incur a fifty dollar ($50.00) processing fee deduction. Refund requests received between eight (8) and thirty (30) days after the renewal date will be considered on a case-by-case basis; any refund we elect to grant will be reduced by an amount equal to one (1) month of the current Subscription Cycle. Refund requests received more than thirty (30) days after the renewal date may be denied. Any refund we elect to grant applies only to the most recent renewal charge.
(c) Free Trials, Promotional Codes, and Credits. Charges following a free trial or promotional period, and purchases made with promotional codes or credits, are non-refundable.
(d) For assistance, please contact our support team at info@samsaraexperience.com.
8.3 Renewal of Subscriptions
Your initial subscription term will be specified in your Order, and unless otherwise specified in your Order, your subscription will automatically renew.
8.4 Early Cancellation of Subscriptions
Except as expressly provided in Section 8.2 (Refunds), we do not provide early termination or refunds for the unused portion of a prepaid subscription. For assistance, please contact our support team at info@samsaraexperience.com.
8.5 Renewal Reminders
Renewal reminders are provided as a courtesy and/or as required by applicable law, in addition to the cancellation terms above. We may send email reminders in advance of an upcoming subscription renewal to the email address associated with your account. You are responsible for keeping your account email address current, and for canceling in accordance with Section 5 if you do not wish to renew.
9. Recording and Content
Samsara coaching calls and consults are recorded. By participating in a recorded call or consult, you grant Samsara the irrevocable, royalty-free right to record, use, edit, reproduce, and publish the recording of your participation — including your name, voice, image, and likeness — in Samsara marketing, advertising, and educational content, in any medium now known or later developed, without further compensation, notice, or approval. To opt out of future use, email info@samsaraexperience.com or notify your call host at the start of the call. Upon opt-out, we will not use your participation in any new marketing, advertising, or educational content created after we receive your request; content already produced or published may remain in use. This Section does not apply to any participant under the age of 18, whose participation in such use requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
10. Intellectual Property and Access to Materials
All Samsara training programs, training plans, workout libraries, educational content, videos, written materials, spreadsheets, and related coaching materials (collectively, “Samsara Materials”) are the intellectual property of Samsara and are protected by applicable law. Your Subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Samsara Materials for your personal, non-commercial training use only, and only for as long as your Subscription is active.
Your access to the Samsara Materials, including any training plan or programming document prepared for you, is a benefit of active membership. When your Subscription ends, is canceled, or lapses, your license and access to the Samsara Materials end, and you may lose access to your training plan and related documents. You may not copy, distribute, resell, share, or create derivative works from the Samsara Materials, or retain or reproduce them for use outside of an active Subscription, without our prior written consent.
As a courtesy, upon written request to info@samsaraexperience.com, we will provide a former Athlete Team member with a PDF export of their own training data with any embedded links deactivated. Please allow up to ten (10) business days to process such requests.
11. Notice
Parties shall provide effective notice (“Notice”) to each other via email at the date and time at which the Notice is sent. Where this Agreement refers to notifying you (including price changes under Section 3 and amendments under Section 13), notice given by the method below is effective Notice:
Provider’s Email: info@samsaraexperience.com
Client Email: the email address associated with your account at the time Notice is sent.
12. Merger
This Agreement constitutes the final, exclusive agreement between the parties relating to the Services contained in this Agreement. All earlier and contemporaneous negotiations and agreements between the parties on the matters contained in this Agreement are expressly merged into and superseded by this Agreement.
13. Amendment
We may modify this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in accordance with Section 11 (Notice) and/or by posting the updated Agreement at samsaraexperience.com with a revised Effective Date. Material changes will not apply retroactively and will take effect no earlier than fourteen (14) days after notice is provided, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Non-material changes (such as clarifications, corrections, or updates to contact information) take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the Subscription Services, or the renewal of your Subscription, after the Effective Date of a modified Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the modified Agreement. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must cancel your Subscription before the modified terms take effect.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Subscription Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your state of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.
15. Force Majeure
Samsara will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement to the extent such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, severe weather, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government action, power or internet outages, or failures of third-party service providers or platforms. This Section does not excuse your obligation to pay amounts due for Subscription periods already provided, and does not limit any refund rights expressly set out in Section 8.2.
