This October, join us on the North Shore of Oahu, for our most immersive training experience: The Samsara Athlete Summit. This week-long training camp is designed to be the most accelerated path to resolving injuries and improving your athleticism. Daily Training sessions on the farm, morning breath work on the beach, and deep immersion into Aloha island culture – make up the daily routine. The Hawaii Summit will set a new direction for your body as you head into winter.

The camp is hosted on Kohl’s Family Farm, a secluded retreat center just minutes from the beach town of Haleiwa, and the North Shore surf breaks.  Space is limited to 8 participants. There are 4 double occupancy cabins. Lodging arrangements will be allocated based on the order of reservations. Your deposit is non-refundable, but it is transferable.

If you should need to cancel for any reason, you can transfer your deposit to another participant for a $100 admin fee. You are responsible for finding your replacement, but we will fill your spot with waitlisted athletes when possible.

The Summit was designed for active athletes who are pursuing their athletic goals. There is nothing elite or exclusive about the Athlete Summit, if you are on the quest to transform your performance, and have either regular training or sport habits – you are welcome at any level. Every human is an athlete!

The Summit Experience

Join our team of coaches on a transformative journey to discover your innate athletic ability. Designed for adventure athletes at any age, the Hawaii Summit is where we build community through the shared experience of transforming our bodies.  Beyond the training sessions the Summit is a deeply restorative week: connecting with the ocean, building friendships and investing in ourselves to come back feeling supercharged for winter.

Our private retreat center is a quiet refuge away from the hussle of regular life. Small cabins are arranged around the shared space. Our dinners are catered everynight to suit your dietary needs.

The Training Experience

Our hectic modern lives take their toll on our body and mind. Mental stress, and physical injuries can leave us feeling frustrated with our physical state. The Samsara Athlete Summit is our most immersive training experience, 6 days of dedication to restoring your body, and cultivating your athleticism. You will leave feeling stronger, more agile and fluid than the day you arrived.

Our coaches & Z will all be there, and their goal is to make this your single most powerful week of training of the year.

The focus of the training is around 3 outcomes:

  1. Resolve your Injuries. We use a simple 2 step approach: identify the movement pattern you need, and then dial in the correct load to allow the body to heal itself. We will work with you to identify the movement pattern you need, and will guide you through the loading.
  2. Increase your strength. Strength is the engine of all movement, and key to boosting your injury resilience. Working live and 1:1 with our coaches will supercharge your strength training outcomes. We will dial in the form and loads that will ensure that you progress faster. You will leave stronger than you came.
  3. Improve Your Athleticism. Athleticism is the ability to time and coordinate strength, which improves your performance in the mountains, or wherever you roam. We will build fluidity, agility and elasticity back into your movements. You will feel younger and more athletic by the end of the week.

Cultivate the root of your athleticism, and you will transform the way you perform in every sport. We have seen it time and time again, but rarely have the chance to make it happen in person!

Breathe with Kohl

Following a near death surfing accident at nearby Pipeline, Kohl embarked on a journey of re-discovering the power of breath to help center his mind on the journey back to the ocean. 

Now back to full health and navigating the big water again, Kohl has honed breathing techniques and exercises that span the gamut of mindfulness to performance enhancement. 

Kohl will lead daily guided breathwork, help you explore your lung capacity through breath holds, and share breathing techniques that will help optimize your physiology and mindset.
